Our office is located in the City of Tonawanda. We currently have approximately 20 employees, including IT professionals, graphic artists, writers, customer support, and sales staff. We are proud to be small, but growing Western New York business.
If chosen for this position, you will be responsible for:
Managing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns, including the strategy, design, implementation, and analysis of campaign performance.
Receiving, reviewing, and being responsible for editing blog articles from freelance writers, incorporating the blog articles into our newsletters, and being accountable for the timely distribution of the newsletters.
Writing narrative marketing content for automated emails, brochures, letters, and script for video marketing efforts.
Managing our social media accounts. This will include posting regularly on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest; answering customer inquires; reacting to customer comments; and creating and maintaining relationships with influencers.
Managing direct marketing campaigns to introduce and continue to familiarize end-users of our brands.
Identifying and liaising with outside experts to assist with specific marketing campaigns.
Working with the sales team to develop marketing campaigns aligned with the sales strategy.
Researching and registering for trade shows, as well as handling the logistics of materials and people to trade shows.
Seeking opportunities for website backlinks to improve our Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Ideal attributes of Marketing Specialist:
Experience in both digital and traditional marketing techniques
Ability to juggle several projects and campaigns at once
Identify and pursue new and creative methods of marketing our products
Google Ads certification preferred
Trained in PPC or YouTube advertising preferred
Interest in being a core member of a growing marketing team
Maintain deep knowledge of English grammar and mechanics
Ability to thoughtfully communicate to colleagues, freelance writers, and customers.
Ability to accept and provide constructive criticism
Possess a growth mindset
Positive team motivator
